Launched in 2016, the redesigned Air-King brought a completely new look to the Air-King line. Immediately recognisable with its large 3, 6 and 9-hour markers, combined with a prominent minutes scale, the Oyster Perpetual Air-King embodies the ties Rolex has forged with the world of aviation since the 1930s. 2022 introduced the 126900 and with it several updates over the previous 116900. Revised dial numerals, a slimmer case and lugs, the introduction of crown guards and a switch to the in-house caliber 3230 movement. The green color of the seconds hand is identical to that of the name Rolex. Unique to the Air-King, the iconic five-pointed crown is displayed in yellow on the Air-King: an exception in the Oyster Perpetual collection.
